A week of unsettled weather and slightly cooler temperatures is ahead for the Eastern Sierra. According to the National Weather Service, Monday and Tuesday, July 6 and July 7, will bring the highest chance of heavy rain and even possible localized flash flooding. As the weekend nears, temperatures will cool and the chance of heavy rain events will increase due to abundant moisture in an offshore system, the NWS said. Here's more on the forecast:
