Baby, It's Cold Outside!

Staff Writer

The coldest temperatures of the year are on tap for this evening, Nov. 27, as a strong inversion pattern settles in over the entire Eastern Sierra, trapping cold, Arctic air in the region. Mammoth temps could drop to about 7 degrees tonight and it won't get much warmer tomorrow, with the high forecast to be about 25 degrees. Pets should not be outside long and keep an eye on the wind; if there is any wind, windchill could make it feel like it's close to zero degrees out there. By Monday, it should begin to warm up, with highs reaching the mid-forties by Wednesday. — WG
