The Weather Ahead This Week

Staff Writer

Warmer and drier conditions are on the way after a stormy, wet first half of July in Mono County. According to the National Weather Service, Monday and Tuesday, July 13 and July 14, will still have a chance of showers and thunderstorms but beginning Wednesday, temperatures should rebound to normal and much of the rest of the week should be warmer and drier, with thursday the warmest day. There is another possibility of scattered showers and storms on the radar this weekend but that system, if it approaches, should not have the power or El Nino-enhanced precipitation associated with it that has made July so wet so far. —WG
