Earthquake Talk Kicks off 'Green Church' Talks, June 2

Morgan's talk kicks of the Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Laboratory (SNARL) lectures, which begin Tuesday, June 2 and continue into early July each Tuesday.

Community members are invited to shake up their Tuesday evening, June 2 at 7 p.m. with Dr. Morgan Page, Research Geophysicist from the U.S. Geological Survey.
Dr. Page will speak on her research on California earthquakes, giving a lecture titled," Breaking Badly: Forecasting California Earthquakes.”
Those planning to attend should note that the SNARL Lecture Series has moved from the Green Church and now will be held on campus at the Sierra Nevada Aquatic Research Laboratory, 1016 Mt. Morrison Rd.
The series will run for six weeks on Tuesday evenings, June 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 and July 7. Lectures are free, and open to the public but are not recommended for young children.
Lectures begin promptly, so those planning to attend are asked to allow 15 minutes for parking and settling into their seats.—WG
