Free youth cross-country mountain bike rides, June 25-Sept. 17
The Mammoth Mountain Community Foundation is offering free youth mountain bike rides from June 25-Sept. 17. The rides will be held every Thursday, from 5-6:30 p.m. and will begin and end at the Mammoth Mountain Main Lodge Adventure Center. Community members will volunteer to lead the rides, which are geared towards high school and middle school-age kids. However, riders of any age and ability and their parents are welcome (parents must pay their own way).

17th Annual Country Western Dance & BBQ, June 27
From 5-9 p.m., come to the historic Hayden Cabin Mammoth Museum on Mammoth Creek for live music by Derik Olson and Friends; dance admission FREE with line dancing lessons by Tina Sauser. There will be a BBQ as well. Adults: $20, school age children $6, (under 5 free w/paid adult), No-host bar, Tri Tip, chicken, hot dogs and all the fixin’s plus dessert! June Lake Trails Day, June 27
Join Friends of the Inyo and the June Lake Trails Committee for the sixth annual June Lake Trails Day. Work will be done on various trials, so there will be a place for everyone who comes out! Meet at the June Lake Community Center, by Gull Lake, at 8:30 a.m. Saturday June 27. The projects will start at 9 a.m. There will also be a raffle and a free lunch provided by the Double Eagle. Mammoth Food and Wine Experience, June 26-27
The 2015 Food and Wine Experience will run June 26-27 at the Edison Pavilion in Mammoth, with a Friday Night Wine Walk at the Village. The weekend will also include food and fine wines. Four educational seminars will be offered for $25 each, all of which will take place at the Mammoth Rock Brasserie. Lake Mary Clean up, June 28
Join Friends of the Inyo for a clean up around Lake Mary and the surrounding area sponsored by the Mammoth Half Marathon. Meet at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, June 28 at Pokonobe Lodge off of Lake Mary Road.
