The Town of Mammoth Lakes said today, May 23 that the Town Council election for the two open Council seats is still scheduled for Tuesday, June 7 after a mistake on the ballot indicating there will be three open seats for the Town Council race came to light early last week.

The Mono County Election Office is now mailing NEW ballots to registered voters with the correct number – two – of open Town Council seats.

If voters have already completed and submitted the June 7 ballot, they are requested to complete and submit the NEW correct ballot with two open Council seats (vote for no more than two).

If voters have any questions, contact Bob Musil, Registrar of Voters at 760-932-5537 or visit www.monocounty.ca.gov/elections.
