RAW: Gateway Project sets June deadline as groundbreaking nears

May 21, 2012

Now in the final stages of the permitting process with the Town and the Forest Service, the Gateway Community Project will be breaking ground soon, said project coordinator Elizabeth Tenney.

She said the Gateway Group anticipates completion well before the snow flies.

Businesses, residents and second homeowners who want to commemorate their strong attachment to Mammoth still have time to order a laser-inscribed personal brick paver or cast bronze legacy plaque.

A $125 tax-deductible donation buys a paver. Threshold donation for a bronze plaque is $1000. Bronze plaques will be mounted in the "Band of Bronze" on the south Gateway monument.

See www.mammothgateway.org for ordering details.
