Photo of the Week

Staff Writer

Sheriff Ingrid Braun (l) had the opportunity to spend some time last week with Former First Lady Laura Bush when she visited Mono County with a group of friends for a vacation. The Mono County Sheriff’s office worked with the United States Secret Service to ensure Mrs. Bush and her fellow travelers safely enjoyed their visit to the Eastern Sierra, according to the sheriff's department. Mrs. Bush was also in the area to re-dedicate Tioga Pass Road, the highest road across the Sierra, which was dedicated 100 years ago this year on July 29. Photo/Mono County Sheriff's Department.
