Mammoth Nordic school teams head to state championships next week

The Auburn Ski Club (ASC) was the scene this past Friday, Feb. 10, for numerous highly competitive high school and middle school League Nordic races.

The Mammoth high school and middle school girls and boys teams posted qualifying results and set themselves up to be in the running for many potential individual and team awards at Feb. 18ís Nordic State Championship back at Auburn Ski Club.

High School Open Girls:

High School Open Boys:

Middle School Girls:

Middle School Boys:
10th - Cameron Small
18th - Connor Kusumoto
32nd - Trace Calvin
39th - Calvin Forsythe
46th - Malachi Schrager
48th - Jacob Mahler
55th - Harrison Manzano
59th - Martin Thompson
73rd - Jack Peckenpaugh
 
The last Junior National Qualifier (JNQ) races will also take place next week at Auburn Ski Club and results then will determine which Nordic athletes will be selected to represent the Far West Team at Junior Nationals in March.
