Lakes Basin study to be unveiled Thursday, Sept. 30

A Lakes Basin call to action!

The results of the Lakes Basin Special Study are about to be unveiled in a series of three presentations over the next six weeks.

The first presentation, “State of the Lakes Basin,” will be presented Thursday, Sept. 28 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at the Westin Monache Resort.

The second presentation, scheduled for Oct. 14 at the Westin from 5:30-8:30, is called “Lakes Basin recreation Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow.”

The third, scheduled for Oct. 28, also at the Westin from 5:30 – 8:30, is called “Lakes Basin Mobility and Transportation.”

The study is a joint effort by the Friends of the Inyo, the Mammoth Lakes Trails and Public Access Foundation, the U.S. Forest Service and the Town of Mammoth Lakes.
