'Ezakimak' a big hit

The first-ever "Ezakimak" race, a 2,000-foot elevation gain race from the base of Main Lodge, drew hundreds of spectators to the top of Mammoth Mountain Saturday evening.

Mammoth Physical Therapist Tim Tollefson was the fastest up the hill, running it in 37 minutes. Olympic marathon champ Deena Kastor was second, and first among women.
