Lend Me a Tenor
What: Mammoth Lakes Foundation presents Ken Ludwig’s hilarious comedy “Lend Me a Tenor” about a last minute change-of-plans, when everything is on the line. General Admission $20 and $18 for students and seniors.
Where: Edison Theatre, 100 College Parkway, Mammoth Lakes 
When: February 9 to 26. Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. Sundays at 4 p.m.
 
Fear of Flying Clinic
What:  A two-weekends clinic being held March 17,18, 24 with an optional flight on March 25. Cost is $595. $50 discount if signed up by Feb. 25.  Pre-registration is required.

Casting Call for all Dancers
What: Dancers of all ages are invited to audition for Dennis Wayne’s Cinderella 2012. Different call times depending on age. Must be enrolled in a class to participate. Show will play in late April.

Chocolate Mountain Snowshoe or Hike
What: Friends of the Inyo for the sixth year in a row is leading a 7-mile round trip hike in the Piper Mountains Wilderness. Bring food and water for the day, layered clothing and appropriate footwear.
Where/When: Meet at 8:30 a.m. at Big Pine Campground, junction of Hwy168 and Hwy395

Sierra Club Intermediate or Advanced X-Country Ski
What: Intermediate or Advanced Beginner skill required. Outings cover 3-5 miles. Dress in layers; bring sunscreen, water and snack. Snowshoes are welcome but must keep up.
Where/When: Meet at Union Bank parking lot at 10 a.m. Return at 3 p.m. Itinerary will depend on snow conditions.

Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce Valentine’s Day Mixer
What: Mammoth Lakes Chamber of Commerce invites all business owners and professionals to its monthly mixer. Catering by Toomey’s, in addition to DJ by AV Special Events.

When: 5 – 7p.m.

Workforce Investment Act Orientation
What: Orientation will review the free services available through WIA in Mono County. 
Where: 452 Old Mammoth Rd., 3rd Floor, Mammoth Lakes

Thursday, Feb. 16
 
Sierra Club X-Country Ski or Snowshoe Conditioning 
What: All levels welcome, especially beginners. Outings cover 3-5 miles and last about 2.5 hours, concentrating on condition technique. Dress in layers; bring sunscreen, water and snack.
Where/When: Meet at Union Bank parking lot at 10 a.m. Itinerary will depend on snow conditions.

Bishop Community Concerts Association Presents
What: Rastrelli Cello Quartet, four Russian cellists performing music “between the genres” will graciously be appearing for the non-profit Bishop Community Concerts Associations 4th concert of the 2011/2012 season.

Sierra Club Meeting and Movie Night
What: Meeting will be followed by the movie “Ansel Adams.” Everyone is welcome.  Please no food.

What: Led by Eric Blumensaadt, ski patroller and back-country skier. The first of a two-part session will be a lecture/discussion and A/V presentation.

Sierra Club Winter Survival Workshop
What: Led by Eric Blumensaadt, ski patroller and back-country skier. The second of a two-part session will be practicing in the snow as apart of the Sierra Club’s regular Sunday outing.

Bridgeport Community Forum
What: Don Clark, Eastern Sierra Unified School District Superintendent, and Stacey Adler, Mono County Superintendent of Schools, will be hosting a forum for all community member to discuss educational issues in the area.
Where: 74 N. School St., Bridgeport
When: from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
