DSES Paralympic Sport Camp a success

Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra wrapped up its third Paralympic Sport Camp of this winter season, and organizers said they were thrilled with the prospective Paralympic talent the camp produced The Alpine Ski and Race Camp is one of several DSES Paralympic Sport camps, which are geared as recruitment camps for further Paralympic training.

With 18 participants, this was DSES’ largest Alpine Ski and Race Camp to date. The camp was a mix of Wounded Warriors and civilians, which included 11 sit-skiers, one visually impaired participant, two children, and 10 Wounded Warriors, one whom was here two weeks ago for the Wounded Warrior “Operation Mountain Freedom” event.
