Danielle Fischer sentenced

Staff Writer

Mono County District Attorney Tim Kendall announced this week that Danielle Fischer of the Westlake Village area of Ventura County has been sentenced to one year in Mono County Jail and five years of probation after pleading guilty to charges of child neglect.
Paramedics responded to a call of a child drowning on Sunday, July 5. Though the child was saved, Fischer was charged with felony child endangerment, and entered her guilty plea Oct. 6.
Judge Stan Eller sentenced her to the middle-term of four years in prison. The court suspended the prison sentence pending successful completion of five years of formal probation, including one year in custody at Mono County Jail.
