ATV jamboree offers more backcountry June 11-15

May 28, 2013

Snow has melted from most Eastern Sierra trails, clearing the way for the annual ATV & UTV Jamboree from June 11 to 15.

Based in Walker and Coleville in northern Mono County, there are 20 different guided trail rides, leading riders to summit peaks, scenic vistas, and meadows teeming with wildflowers.

Guests will also learn about the area’s history and enjoy camaraderie with fellow ATV and UTV (all-terrain and utility vehicle) enthusiasts.

A limited numbers of quads are allowed on each trip. Trail rides include the challenging “Rocklin Mine Trail” for advanced riders only;  “Quaint Little Cabin in the Woods” for less experienced riders (a barbecue picnic en route makes for a delicious lunch break); and “Photographers Dream Ride,” accessing the Sierra’s most secret scenic spots.

For more information on lodging, or to register for rides, visit Late registration is open through Sunday, June 9 subject to space availability.
