The best of Wednesday’s 6 p.m. Town Council meeting is the last item on its agenda.

Mono County District Attorney George Booth announced he will retire at the end of June in a letter addressed to the five county supervisors dated April 19.
Booth has served the county as either a Mono County Deputy District Attorney, Assistant District Attorney or District Attorney, for 27 years.
