An autopsy for Dr. Andrew Bourne was conducted this morning by the Orange County Sheriff’s Department Coroner with results confirming that he did commit suicide.
There is no evidence to suspect foul play in his death, according to the Mono County Sheriff's Department's press release.
Dr. Andrew Bourne's memorial service site has been changed again.
It is on Feb. 4 and will now be at Canyon Lodge. Rusty Gregory and Mammoth Mountain donated Canyon Lodge and will provide all food. Please do not bring food. A cash bar will be available.

Dr. Andrew Bourne, 46, the former chief of staff at Mammoth Hospital and implicated as a possible suspect in an ongoing child sex investigationin Santa Barbara, died Tuesday, authorities said.
A man who is walking across the country to raise awareness for the need for hospice facilities met his match in snow-bound Yosemite National Park and had to be rescued by Mono County Search and Rescue team members.
CORRECTION: In the Jan. 13 issue of the Mammoth Times, the last day for potential candidates to file candidacy papers for the June election was stated as March 16. That is incorrect. The deadline is March 9 for all candidates, unless an incumbent has not filed by March 9. In that case, the deadline for potential candidates to file is extended to March 16.
