The Northern Mono Chamber of Commerce will be sponsoring a âCandidates Nightâ on April 12 at 7 p.m. at the Antelope Valley Community Center.
The Candidates for County Supervisor, District 4 will be there; Meadowcliff Resort owner Tim Fesko, Bridgeport Inn owner Bob Peters, and business owner and former Mono County Planning Commissioner Jan Huggans,
This is the time for you to ask those important questions before you vote on June 5th.

No one wants to talk about it.
But the number of child sexual abuse cases reported in the Eastern Sierra has gone up this year, from one to three in Mono County and from six to nine in Inyo County.
That might not seem like much, but these are two very small counties and itâs an unusually sharp increase.
No one knows why officially, but thereâs good speculation.
âLetâs face it, this has really been in the news lately,â said Lisa Reel, executive director for Wild Iris. âAnd the ones reporting in our area are young, under 16.â
